The JV Laky Vikes played their best game of the year and came up just short and the end despite all 11 players playing outstanding team basketball. The Lady Vikings were outstanding against Kent City's relentless pressure by playing great team basketball. The Lady Vikes relied on everyone to handle the ball. Nevaeh Helderop was absolutely amazing on defense and her ball handling was terrific. Megan Williams led the point of the defense as usual. Kate Cleypool was outstanding at attacking the basket and offensive rebounding. Cleypool led the team with 14 points. Sage Crippin played a great all around game and Flannery Johnson did an outstanding job handling the ball. Dahlia Veldhouse and Ashley Tunstill were big on the boards and extending our defense. Helena Kerber stepped up big when her team needed her. Abby Zallis, Jade Lahaie and Katie Taylor played multiple positions very well.
