Our season opener was on 12/1/2018 at Plainwell High School, this year we were not quite ready to perform our Round 3 at this competition. For more than 1/2 the team this was their first experience on the competition mat. Nerves were high and December 1st is very early in the season to be competing. After round 1 the Lady Vikes scored 178.4, excited to see a higher score than last seasons opener the team went into round 2 with a little more confidence and excitement. Again in round 2 we outscored our last years opener with a score of 123.4. Although we still have a lot of work to go we are excited to no longer have the dreaded 10 point penalty for less than the mandated number in round 2. With hard work and dedication this team will improve immensely this season.
