HOPKINS, Mich. — The Hopkins High School Athletic Department announced Alicia Kent as its next Varsity Volleyball Head Coach. After graduating from Hopkins High School, Alicia began coaching volleyball at Hopkins Middle School. After two years at the middle school level, Alicia was the junior varsity volleyball coach at Hopkins for 15 years. After taking a couple years off, Alicia has been asked with continuing the strong tradition that Coach Wisser has built over the last three decades.

“Being a part of the program for the past two decades, Alicia understands the tradition that has been established for Hopkins Viking Volleyball. We’re excited for her to continue and build on the tradition that has been established.” said Athletic Director Andrew Mains.

The volleyball season officially starts on Monday, August 7th, 2023, with summer camps and workouts beginning in July.
