Bob is a Hopkins alumni class of 1957 who served in the United States Air Force before coming back to Hopkins and started announcing football in 1971. For the last 55 years Bob has served the community behind the mic on Friday nights. In those 55 years he has seen approximately 351 Viking wins, 42 winning seasons, 25 playoff appearances, 25 league championships, 5 district titles, 5 regional titles, 4 undefeated regular seasons and 2 state runner up teams. All in all Bob has been a part of over 540 total Viking football games. Last Night we honored Bob with a plaque for his unwavering dedication and service that has inspired generations as “The Voice of the Vikings” Thank you Bob and your family!
