Conference Jamboree #3 & M-89 Shootout September 18, 2026 We played another conference jamboree on Tuesday and a classic local invitational on Friday. With less than three weeks until regionals, the team is full speed ahead and working hard to improve every day. Conference Jamboree #3 at Boulder Creek (NorthPointe Christian) The Vikings played at a difficult Boulder Creek on Tuesday taking 3rd place with a team score of 220. Annika led the way with a 48, and Emerie improved her average with a solid 54. Morgan had a stellar middle portion of her round going +6 through 5 holes. Lily and Kennedy were able to finish strong to shoot in the 50s, and Lexi probably had the shot of the day hitting a 60 yard shot to about 4 feet (and made the putt)! A lot of positive trends were on display during the third conference jamboree of the season, but one area the team struggled in on this day was putting. We'll certainly be emphasizing putting in practice! M-89 Shootout We played in an invitational at The Lynx on Friday morning. This tournament has been around for years and features teams from all of our neighboring districts. The girls played well and took 4th place out of 9 teams. They shot 200 which ties our 4th best score in program history and is our best score this year. Annika (45), Sofia (50), Emerie (51), and Lily (54) contributed scores to the team total, but Kennedy (57) and Rorey (58) also finished with solid efforts helping us achieve another first this year: all players under 60! A few highlights from the day: Five players made at least one par. Sofia made a birdie. Emerie made her first two pars of the season - on the two hardest holes on the course! Kennedy, Sofia, and Emerie all set or tied personal bests for the season.
