Hopkins Boys Soccer started the season on Wednesday with a 2-2 tie against the Wyoming Wolves. Last season the Vikings lost to Wyoming 8-0 to start the season so Coach Mieras was excited with the result. First half goal was scored by Tyler Langlois on a penalty kick. The game would be tied 1-1 at half. The wolves scored an early second half goal to take a 2-1 lead but the Vikings would score a late equalizer from Jaycob Russell to bring the ending score to 2-2. The Vikings are next in action on Monday 8/24 @ Kent City at 6:00pm.
